Corton & Corton-Charlemagne - #bourgogneGJB

2016 brought spectacular sunny spring weather throughout the Grands Jours de Bourgogne. Save for the last day, Friday (my 4th straight day of tasting many of the world's best wines - more strenuous than perhaps it appears).  

Lots of people had left by then - all the better to taste Corton-Charlemagne and Corton at the Cuverie Domaine Latour in Aloxe-Corton first thing Good Friday morning. 

The building featured in the second of the two Full Slideshows HERE is the Château de Corton André.

Saving the best for last... the 5th day of #bourgogneGJB included tastings of Meursault and Volnay.  It was my fourth day of tasting some of the best wines of the world and it felt, truly, like an embarrassment of riches.

Grands Jours de Bourgogne - Mercurey + Jeunes Talent

3rd day of the Grands Jours Bourgogne featured a tasting spotlighting Mercurey producers and another featuring Young Talent.  [full slideshow HERE]
